First day

Noepel Shelter Begin : about 10am End : 4:30pm Distance: 13.3 miles Others: about 5 others here Wasn’t too bad today.  It started to feel better after a late lunch.  It was kind of a short day, and I hope that I’ll be able to do a little more as I get more into the hike.  But I’m happy with today. I’ll go over Mnt Greylock first thing tomorrow and then will hit Vermont and the Long Trail, probably after lunch.
