Today was a long but good day. Started out kind of bad with the trail up to our waist with brush. At times you literally couldn’t see the trail, looked like we were just walking through the brush, which we really were. This lasted about 9 or 10 miles, then it started to get better. We opted, after a coin flip, to take a lower route that actually saved a couple miles. I’m glad we did, it was interesting. Then at about mile 20 or so we decided to take a different trail, I think the 101. When we reached the end of that we just turned north east and followed another trail. We are now by a stream, probably a mile from the road that will lead us into East Glacier. It looks like we will have to walk about 9 or 10 miles to get to town. All of this extra trail walking because we hear the cdt going into East Glacier is pretty bad. I did something very similar last time.
