The morning part of our hike was just awesome. We started out not great going uphill through a very overgrown trail, but after about 4 miles it got better. Then we started up over Piegan Pass. Going over this pads we really took our time at like an hour per mile. It was just wonderful. We stopped at the top for a little lunch break, but more just so we could stay at the pass longer. Then once we got down into the trees we sped up again. Got to Many Glacier and had a hamburger. Only two days left for me and three for Yoda because he is going out Cheif Pass and I’m going to Waterton. He is going to spend the night tomorrow with me at Fifty Mountain and then go over on the Pacific Northwest Trail.
