Waiting out the rain

At least waiting out the worst of it here in Story.  Day before yesterday was pretty good. I met my only other hiker so far.  His name was Cheeter and he was hiking with 2 dogs.  He did the AT last year, I think, and the CDT before that. He says he probably won’t do the PCT because of expense and because you have to register.  Stayed the night at Suck Mountain Shelter which was pretty nice.  I think I arrived there at 4 pm. I was going to move on but decided, just to relax in the nice chair on site.  Did 13 miles the next day by starting out before sunrise.  It rained a bit, but not too much.  I saw a couple ladies out for two days, but not much else.  Just a walk in, and I arrived at 11:00 to wait for Lori to pick me up.  She got there about 1 pm and took me back to her small little cafe where I had a hamburger. She is a very nice lady.  It was interesting to see her little corner of the world.
