Today was quite the day summiting Mnt Mansfield and lots of views. I’m looking at Mnt Mansfield out the window right now. Climbing up was fun and a small smackrell scary. There were many little wooden ladders to get you up at various places, and plenty of exposed edges. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I met the caretaker in the little information building about a mile before the summit. He was from Franklin. What are the chances? He said I was the first person he had met from his home town.
The actual time up on the summit was kind of laissez-faire because I kept it short since it was cold up there. Then just on to this place it was for me. It is only 9ish miles to the road tomorrow where I will resupply and get a hotel.
